Pop Smoke’s hit singles “Dior” and “Welcome to the Party” have hit new milestones even after his tragic death.

“Dior” has been certified platinum by the RIAA, and “Welcome to the Party” has been certified gold. Chart Data shared the news on Friday.

Pop Smoke recently appeared on Nav’s Good Intentions album and Lil Tjay’s State of Emergency project, which both arrived on Friday. Pop Smoke’s family and manager, Steven Victor, alluded to the features earlier this week in an Instagram post.

“Throughout the next year, we will be sharing new music, as we continue to build Pop's legacy. In conjunction with his estate we will be making formal announcements on his foundation and music projects,” Victor shared in a joint statement from his company Victor Victor Worldwide and Pop Smoke’s family.

Before that, Victor teased the arrival of a posthumous album from Pop Smoke and a new documentary focused on the artist, something that Pop Smoke echoed in his April interview with Complex, which was also his final editorial interview.

“I’m gonna put out a movie or a documentary,” he said at the time. “I'm gonna make that shit about me. Walk 'em through where I used to live, where I used to be at, and why they look at me the way they look. I'm gonna show you why they don't like that—what they don't like. Let's see if you have the same feedback that they have. Let's see if you would want me to be banned and want me to not perform. I doubt you will. All this good music being recorded, and you want to put it on hold? You don't want people to hear it?”

Pop Smoke's last interview was released as part of Complex's celebration of Brooklyn drill: “You know what happened with that shit,” he said about drill becoming Brooklyn’s dominant sound. “That’s me! Who you know that was getting millions of dollars in New York, bumping New York drill?... Now n***as is eating and feeding their families with this shit. Nobody was doing it like this. I’m not saying I started it. I’m just saying there’s a different light on it now because of me.”

Pop Smoke was killed in Los Angeles in February.
