Steven Victor, who heads the Victor Victor label and managed the late Pop Smoke, has shared a statement regarding the status of new music and additional projects slated to be released in partnership with the artist's estate.

"The public show of support and grief, by everyone touched by Pop during his lifetime, has provided some semblance of comfort during these difficult times for his family, friends, and colleagues," Victor said in a joint statement with Pop's family. "Throughout the next year we will be sharing new music, as we continue to build Pop's legacy. In conjunction with his estate we will be making formal announcements on his foundation and music projects."

Last month, Victor spoke with Complex's Eric Skelton, revealing he and his team were currently deep in the process of readying posthumous music releases and a documentary

"I'm working really, really hard on this Pop Smoke album," Victor said. "And I'm working on a documentary for him, too. And his foundation. I'm just really focused on making this label like the next Jimmy Iovine and Interscope."

Pop Smoke died in February after being shot twice during a home invasion at a residence in Hollywood Hills. Following the shooting, he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was ultimately pronounced dead. The final project released prior to his death was Meet the Woo Vol. 2 featuring Quavo, Lil Tjay, and more.
