New Year's Eve is upon us, and for many celebrities it's a chance to make a lot of money quickly. As TMZ reports, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Future are among those performing on NYE, and they'll all be bringing home impressive checks for their performances.
Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne will both be performing at LIV Nightclub in Miami, and between the two of them they'll be bringing in a somewhat reduced rate of $250K. While that likely seems low for these two considering their stature, it's only because they're friends with the owner of the club, and as such they reportedly didn't charge him their usual rate. Future, however, is going to be walking into 2019 smiling with a huge $400K check for his performance at Drai's in Las Vegas.
Lil Baby and Gunna, who joined forces for their collaborative mixtape Drip Harder in October, will be receiving $110K for a show at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. On the other side of the world where it's already the New Year, Sheck Wes has brought in $110K for a performance to cap off 2018 with a show in Australia.
As far as ways to bring in the new year go, making an easy check sounds like a good one.
