Rihanna Enjoys Karaoke Performance of Ciara's "Goodies" Years After Public Feud

Looks like Rihanna isn't holding a grudge.

On Monday night, Rihanna joined several of friends for some good ol’ karaoke. The outing included renditions of Mary J. Blige's "Family Affair," Kelis' "Milkshake," and, most notably, Ciara's 2004 hit "Goodies." Though Rihanna sat on the sidelines for the latter performance, she could be heard singing along in one of her Instagram stories.

For those who don’t remember, Rihanna and Ciara had a falling out more than seven years ago on Twitter. The feud became public shortly after Ciara appeared on a Fashion Police episode, where she accused RiRi of snubbing her.

“I ran into her recently at a party,” Ciara told the late comedian Joan Rivers. “She wasn’t the nicest […] It's crazy, because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn't the most pleasant run-in.”

Happy Birthday @Rihanna
Remembering the 1st time we met. It’s been cool to see you kill it! Keep on soaring ma! 💃🏽🎂😎

Following the episode’s broadcast, Rihanna hit up social media with a direct apology—an apology wrapped in a brutal diss.

“My bad Ci, did I 4get to tip u? U gangsta huh? Haaa,” she tweeted.

Ciara then issued a vague threat: “Trust me Rihanna you don’t want to see me on or off the stage.”

The Anti singer clapped back with a short, but harsh, tweet: “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”

Not too long after their back-and-forth, the singers appeared to squash the beef on Twitter. Rihanna explained her feelings were hurt by Ciara’s Fashion Police comments, and Ciara suggested there were no hard feelings.

Things have remained amicable since then, as demonstrated on Rihanna’s recent Instagram activity.
