Last night, a member of Lil Uzi Vert's team gave the news we've all been waiting for. Besides "Mood" and his appearance on G Herbo's "Who Run It" remix, which still hasn't even officially been released yet, we haven't heard a lot of new music from Uzi so far this year. Fortunately, his team is promising that'll all change pretty soon.

"Uzi is currently working on the best music in his and your life so he does not have a phone," @mean.w shared on Uzi's Instagram page in a since-deleted post. "New music soon." It's unclear how soon we can expect to hear more from Uzi, but it's nice to know that he's actively working on more music after the killer year he had in 2017. "He will be back in a few weeks maybe he says," the post explains.

It's safe to say that fans are eagerly anticipating whatever Vert is cooking up, especially if it's anywhere near as great as we've received from the Phill rapper. It takes dedication to go without a phone for two weeks, but with what his team is promising it sounds like it'll be worth it. Maybe he'll even respond to Rich the Kid's diss, "Dead Friends."
