The fashion house announced the launch alongside a video directed by Harley Weir, which finds Eilish modeling the line while driving a retro car around the Hollywood Hills. The clip features the 20-year-old hitmaker donning caravan sunglasses in black acetate with a gold-toned Gucci script logo, while additional photos capture her wearing a cat-eye design in pink and an ’80s-inspired oversized sun mask.
“Blending retro allure and modern sophistication, the new eyewear collection is enveloped in the campaign’s mysterious mood,” Gucci said in a press release, noting that the retro cars serve as “symbolic extensions of those who drive them, revealing their intentions, motivations, and personality.”
Gucci added, “Reinterpreting the House’s timeless aesthetic, the eyewear styles perfectly reflect the alluring and cinematic mood of the campaign, becoming part of an intriguing plot ready to be unraveled by the viewer.”

On the music side of things, Eilish has been relatively quiet this year. Back in July, she returned with a surprise EP Guitar Songs, comprised of the tracks “TV” and “The 30th.”
“Finneas and I really wanted these to be yours as soon as possible. So here they are!” Billie said in a press release at the time. “Performing ‘TV’ on tour was such a highlight for us too, so we took the audio from the first night we played it in Manchester and put it in the song. I get shivers every time I hear it.”
