NBA All-Star Weekend isn’t just about basketball these days. Each year, the host city becomes home to plenty of activations, collaborations, and exclusive product drops from some of our favorite brands. This year’s events in Cleveland will be no different. Of course, plenty of local designers are making sure to have a major presence. Darryl Brown’s Midwest Kids has a handful of drops planned. Local boutiques like Xhibition and Kicks Lounge have cooked up some special products of their own, too. And that’s not all.

Kicks Lounge, a local sneaker boutique with outposts in Akron and Youngstown, will also have a presence this weekend in Cleveland. Its special All-Star Market will be home to special drops from some of the best up-and-coming streetwear brands like Circulate, Bricks & Wood, Ripnrpr, The Breaks, YSM, and more. Sneaker fans can look forward to live raffles for pairs like the “Big Bang” LeBron 9 and “Cardinal” Air Jordan 3, as well as surprise restocks throughout the weekend.

Kid Cudi’s Members of the Rage is releasing its first product this Friday, a T-shirt in collaboration with Nigo’s Human Made. The Cleveland native is nodding to his home city with a play on the brand’s logo done in Cavs colors. A basketball has also replaced the Earth in Members of the Rage’s original logo. The T-shirt will be available online via Human Made’s web shop, as well as in Cleveland at the Cavs Stockroom activation.

Stationed at the Skylight Concourse at Tower City in Cleveland, The Land x Complex SHOP pop-up space is home to plenty of exclusive apparel. Brands include Bristol Studios, Cookies Hoops, Gray Skull, Undergod by Field, Blacaso’s Letter to Cleveland collection by Complex host Racks, and many more rising local brands to represent the city.

Local streetwear brand Ilthy has collaborated with the Cavaliers official DJ, Steph Floss, for a small capsule of T-shirts and hoodies centered around his Run With the Winners run club. Ilthy has also created ‘90s Cavs-inspired jerseys complete with the city’s “216” area code on the back and some dad caps featuring NBA Finals logo flips to celebrate All-Star Weekend as well.
