Collaborations are one of the biggest parts of fashion today. Some of the most coveted pieces on the market come to fruition when two brands link up to create. This week's drops highlight just how importsnt collabs have become. Popular names like Bape and Heron Preston are dropping projects with Adidas and Nike, respectively, to celebrate one of the biggest sporting events of the year, Super Bowl LIII. Other standouts include an extensive collection between J Balvin and Guess, as well as an exclusive offering from Balenciaga only available at Farfetch. Adidas Football by Bape Collection

Bape created a football-inspired collection with Adidas to celebrate Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta this Sunday. Football jerseys, Shark hoodies, compression tights, arm sleeves, football gloves, cleats, and the massively popular Ultra Boost model will all be available in green and black ABC Camo variations. Collectibe items like a football and a regulation Riddell helmet are also sure to be popular pieces. A patriotic Ape Head logo is used on various pieces.
Heron Preston x Nike Collection

Heron Preston was inspired by his days playing high school football for his first apparel collaboration with Nike. Short sleeve neoprene hoodies, jerseys, gloves, a hand warmer, and a chrome-dipped football will all be available. Each sports its fair share of Preston's trademark branding hits, including his Russian-inspired logos. The collection will debut in Atlanta during Super Bowl Weekend.
Balenciaga for Farfetch Collection

Balenciaga designed an exclusive collection for online retailer Farfetch. The major theme of the capsule is to raise awareness for endangered species like the Northern white rhinoceros, Asian elephant, blue whale, and giant panda. Cartoon-styled graphics of each are emblazoned across T-shirts, hoodies, and accessories. New colorways of oversized parkas, distressed denim, zip-up jackets, and popular sneakers, like the Speed Trainer and chunky Track model, complete the offering. Balenciaga also provided a donation to the International Union for Conservation of Nature to mark the release.
Guess x J Balvin 'Guess Vibras' Collection

J Balvin has made history as the first Latin man to front a campaign for Guess. In celebration of the milestone, Balvin collaborated with the brand on a 42-piece collection inspired by his fifth album, Vibras. T-shirts, hoodies, windbreakers, and more feature colorful tie-dye and floral prints that evoke a '90s aesthetic. Special Guess branding incorporating Vibras symbols is used on certain pieces, while others showcase flips on classic logos from the brand exclusive to the collection.
Ambush x Rimowa Varnished Leather Luggage Handle

Ambush co-founder Yoon Ahn collaborated with Rimowa to recreate the handle for the brand's classic luggage. The rather simplistic design is constructed of a bright orange varnished leather and features bold "Ambush" script in black. Each handle can be attached to the aluminum trunk, so now you won't have to worry about accidentally grabbing someone else's luggage at the airport. A matching leather luggage tag with Rimowa branding will also be included.
Commonwealth Spring/Summer 2019 Collection

Commonwealth is back with a brand new selection from its in-house label. The US-based boutique, which currently has stations in Washington, Los Angeles, and Virginia Beach, focuses on putting a new spin on traditional workwear and sportswear for its latest collection. Desert camouflage cargo pants are given a purple side stripe, an overcoat is made entirely of grey Sherpa, and utility vests are done in unique color options like purple. Graphic T-shirts featuring Sade, Malcolm X, and Bruce Lee-inspired imagery round out the range.
