LeBron James #23 of the Los Angeles Lakers celebrates

LeBron James gave a solid 29 points and 11 assists in the Lakers' Friday night win against the Kings, proving he's still one of the best in the planet after 16 years. Tom Brady and the Patriots still remain dominate nearly a decade into his tenure under center. James and Brady aren't dissimilar, according to James at least.

With his good friend Carmelo Anthony getting another chance to play in the NBA, ESPN's Dave McMenamin wondered if James has given thought to how he wants his career to end.

"Not really. Not the way I feel right now," James answered. "Me and Tom Brady are one in the same. We're going to play until we can't walk no more."

With Carmelo Anthony coming back to the NBA, LeBron James was asked if he's thought how the end of his career will look: "Not really. Not the way I feel right now. Me and Tom Brady are one in the same. We’re going to play until we can’t walk no more."

James didn't run down what he has in common with Brady, but it's known that they're both proven champions in the hunt to get another ring. Both are in pretty good shape: The Lakers lead the Western Conference and New England is 8-1.

When asked about LeBron's comparison, Brady couldn't help but agree with James.

"I've always admired him, he's a great athlete, player," Brady said. "He loves the sport. He loves basketball. He loves competition. I feel the same about football."

The two then exchanged praises on Twitter.

Well I’m playing until I can’t throw TD passes anymore! @TomBrady https://t.co/40dqJwmmmA
