The Golden State Warriors beat the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night to tie the NBA Finals at one apiece. Drake, of course, was in attendance cheering his team on and trolling the Warriors. The trash talk continued after the game when Kevin Durant was congratulating each Warriors player backstage.
Klay Thompson had something to get off his chest when Drake popped up on him and Durant.
“See you in the Bay, Aubrey. Weren’t talking tonight were ya? With your bum ass,” Thompson said.
“You played nice tonight.” Drake responded with a grin.
Drake trolled Durant at Game 2 with a Home Alone-inspired hoodie that read “KEVIN?!?!?!”—a reference to the star's time off the court nursing his calf injury. He also wore a signed Dell Curry Toronto Raptors jersey in Game 1. Following the Warriors’ loss, Drake also reportedly called Draymond Green “trash” during a brief face-to-face exchange, though later, the Warriors forward insisted it was not as serious as people were making it out to be.
“I think so many people make a big deal out of it,” Green told reporters. “It is what it is. He's a fan. He talks and it gets more attention because he's Drake. So many people are complaining about it, like, ‘You don't let any other fan do that.’ Yeah, any other fan is just not Drake, so they probably shouldn't be able to do that.... But I don't mind it.”
