The highly anticipated collab between Travis Scott and Dior is finally launching soon. Today, the French luxury fashion house confirmed that the Houston rapper’s long-awaited “Cactus Jack Dior” collection will launch on July 13.
The capsule will include men’s ready-to-wear apparel, the B713 sneakers, and accessories, which can be seen in the images captured of the models from the Summer 2022 Men’s runway show below. According to Dior, the collection draws inspiration from Scott’s personal style, skatewear and classic Dior motifs. The collection is expected to be available at Dior.com and at select Dior stores.
Dior had planned to release the “Cactus Jack Dior” capsule in January, but the drop was postponed following the tragedies that killed 10 attendees at Scott’s Astroworld festival in late 2021. Since the incident, Scott has slowly been making his return to the public eye by performing in a number of smaller venues in the spring as well as at the Billboard Awards last month.
“Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection,” a Dior rep told Complex in December 2021.
Aside from the “Cactus Jack Dior” capsule, Scott and Jordan Brand are expected to release their collaborative Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha” in July, but neither party has confirmed the drop.
