Some of the more coveted Nike Kobe releases in recent memory have just restocked on the SNKRS app.
News of the restock was initially shared by @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, revealing that the "Grinch" and "Mambacita Sweet 16" Kobe 6 Protro, the "Hall of Fame" Undefeated x Nike Kobe 5 Protro, and the "Mambacita" Kobe 4 Protro are restocking at 8:24 a.m. PT.
This restock is designed to celebrate this year's Mamba Day, which is observed annually on August 24, representing the late Kobe Bryant’s 8 and 24 jersey numbers. Nike also released an all-white "Halo" Kobe 8 yesterday on what would've been his 45th birthday, with additional "Halo" makeups dropping in future years.
Nike CEO John Donahoe confirmed in the brand's Q4 2023 earnings call in June that a relaunch of the Kobe brand will take place this summer, starting with the release of the aforementioned "Halo" Kobe 8. Another Kobe style that's expected to hit retail soon is the "Reverse Grinch" Kobe 6 arriving this winter.
