Watch Samuel L. Jackson Debut Timely New Poem 'Stay the F*ck at Home' on 'Kimmel'

The piece is a sequel of sorts to the 2011 children's book 'Go the F*ck to Sleep' from writer Adam Mansbach.

Back in 2011, the so-called "children's book for adults" Go the Fuck to Sleep helped millions of humans around the world go the fuck to sleep. Now, with some assistance from Samuel L. Jackson, the Fuck stylings have been revived to urge everyone to stay the fuck at home (and presumably also go the fuck to sleep) amid the novel coronavirus.

Jackson dropped in on a special straight-from-home Jimmy Kimmel Live episode on Tuesday, revealing he recently "got a call" from author Adam Mansbach that resulted in a fresh bit of writing aimed at social distancing encouragement.

"The way you can fight it is simple, my friends: stay the fuck at home," Jackson said when reading Mansbach's latest creation. "Now technically I'm not a doctor, but motherfuckers listen when I read a poem. So here I am, Sam Fucking Jackson, imploring you: Keep your ass at home."

Catch the full Stay the Fuck at Home experience above. Jackson, of course, previously worked with Mansbach by way of the Go the Fuck to Sleep audiobook.

Though none of us should need an excellent Sam Jackson clip (or an excellent Larry David PSA) to drive the point home, now's a good time to point out that only dicks and dipshits are engaging in public gatherings and other crowd-promoting activities these days. The practice of social distancing, perhaps best known as simply staying the fuck at home, really can work.
