Margot Robbie’s Embarrassing Vacation Story Is Cooler Than Yours (Hint: It Involves Obama)

She then went on to describe how the end of their Hawaiian getaway brought about quite the awkward encounter with some very famous individuals. It was raining when they arrived at the small luxury resort, so Robbie and husband Tom decided to get in a quick trip to the gym. Unfortunately for Tom, he hadn't really packed any appropriate athletic-wear, so he ended up sporting a pair of bright pink short shorts.

"They're tiny, and they're like really short, and there's nothing underneath. He gets on his bicycle to ride there and I'm like, 'Woah!' You cannot wear those shorts, you can see everything," Robbie said. To which poor, unsuspecting Tom replied, "Oh, come on, who are we gonna run into?" Turns out this tiny, private Hawaiian gym was currently also being used by none other than Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, as well as former President of the United States Barack Obama. OMG.

Ellen gladly introduced the newlyweds to the former President, and the group finished their workout with a stretching class that consisted of Tom awkwardly trying to keep his dignity and not flash anyone. The embarrassing encounter was probably mortifying for Robbie's poor hubby, but even Margot admits, it does make for a pretty killer story.
