Corinne Foxx is looking forward to welcoming another member to the Foxx family.
The 32-year-old opened up about her father, Jamie Foxx, expecting another child during an interview with Extra TV while promoting Season 8 of their FOX game show Beat Shazam.
"Yes, I'm gonna be a sibling times three now. Times three. Yeah, I'm very excited. I'm very excited for him," Corinne said. "He's the best dad in the world, and so he is going to thrive and excel. It's gonna be amazing."
Jamie, 58, is expecting his third child and his first with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, 31. News of the pregnancy was first reported by TMZ in May. The Oscar-winning actor is already a father to Corinne and 17-year-old Anelise, whom he welcomed from previous relationships.
Jamie may have also let another detail about the baby slip during the interview.
When asked whether his newest child could eventually follow his lead on the tennis court, Jamie appeared to refer to the baby as a boy.
"Man, he's gonna play some tennis for sure," Jamie said.
He then turned the conversation toward his own time on the court, adding, "I was playing tennis the other day, tweaked the hammy, but I'll be ready in like two weeks."
Jamie has previously been candid about the prospect of becoming a father again later in life. The entertainer told People he was "a little on the fence" about welcoming another child at 58.
Corinne's excitement comes after the Foxx family endured a frightening period following Jamie's serious medical emergency in April 2023. The actor later revealed that a brain bleed led to a stroke while he was working on Back in Action, leaving him unconscious for 20 days.
While reflecting on the ordeal at the 2025 Golden Globes, Jamie credited Corinne and Anelise with helping him through the health crisis.
"When tragedy happens in a real way, you need solid family and friends," he said, adding that his daughters "held me down in a way that is hard to interpret in these settings."
Corinne and Jamie have also spent years working together on Beat Shazam. Jamie has hosted the music competition series since it debuted in 2017, while Corinne joined him as the show's DJ and co-host beginning with Season 2.
