Nick Cannon has issued a response to Tyisha Hampton after the actress claimed she once walked in on the Wild ‘N Out host donning a full cheerleading uniform in her bedroom in order to cheer up her then-husband Kel Mitchell after he had allegedly cheated on her.

Hampton made the claim in a TikTok video, which was captioned, “you can definitely be blinded by love.”

“Remembering when I came home early #NickCannon wearing my full cheerleading uniform (including the briefs) doing cheers on the bed for my ex-husband #KelMitchell to cheer him up because he cheated on me,” the TikTok reads.

“Yep!! We Probably had the big ear of corn, a bunch of orange soda, and a couple of Kids Choice Awards up our ass too!” Cannon wrote in response on Baller Alert‘s Instagram page after the outlet reshared the video. Kel and Cannon have always had a close relationship, with the latter recently bringing the All That star onto his daytime talk show just so he could give him his flowers.

“You and Kenan gave me the opportunity to write episodes and stuff,” Cannon said. “I was the audience warm-up, just like Chad over there. At 16, I would drive up in my mama’s old car. Kel would let me sleep in his apartment sometimes and hang out.”

Mitchell and Tyisha Hampton were together until 2005, with Hampton claiming after their divorce that he had abused her during their marriage. They have two grown children together.

Cannon is currently expecting another child of his own with model Bre Tiesi, and during a recent appearance on Power 106’s L.A. Leakers, spit a freestyle condemning critics that questioned his lifestyle choices over the years.

“I’m over here painting pictures and y’all worried about the captions/Just read below right here in the comments and I promise it’s happening/They gotta be like ‘that n**** ain’t snappin’/Cannon give up on that rappin’/That’ll never go platinum,” Cannon rapped over EARTHGANG’s “Power.”

Elsewhere, he tackled UGK and Outkast’s 2007 “Int’l Players Anthem,” rapping about how he loves all of his kids.

“I got you for life and I’ll always be there/All of my children will always be friends/Even if they mama’s is not in agreeance,” he rapped.
