Howard Stern Says Will Smith Wouldn't Have Slapped Jason Momoa If He Made Same Jada Joke as Chris Rock

During his Sirius XM show, Stern claimed Will Smith was “a guy with real issues" before questioning where the security was when he slapped Chris Rock.

Radio host Howard Stern is criticizing Will Smith’s decision to slap Chris Rock during the Oscars, and even questioning if the Best Actor winner would’ve thrown hands if the instigator was bigger.

During his Sirius XM show Monday, Stern claimed Smith was “a guy with real issues,” per The Hollywood Reporter, and wondered how the Academy Awards operates.

Howard Stern: “Where is security? Not one person came out, because he’s Will Smith. This is how Trump gets away with sh*t.”

“You don’t provide security?” Stern asked. “You don’t have someone come up there? Chris Rock was just trying to make people laugh at the fucking ceremony, which was so long and boring.”

Stern then brought up the idea of Smith going after another “Rock” in Dwayne Johnson, adding that if Jason Momoa made a joke about Jada Smith like Chris Rock did, the actor would’ve reacted “like a bitch.”

“If Jason Momoa had made that joke, Will Smith, like a bitch, would have said, ‘Thank you for acknowledging my wife, Mr. Momoa,’” Stern said, per New York Daily News.

Momoa did react to the incident after the show, too, sharing in a red carpet interview that he felt the Will and Chris moment was “crazy.” Others like Drake, Nicki Minaj, Judd Apatow, and more have shared their opinions—but Will himself seems to be enjoying his Oscar win, dancing and rapping to “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” at an after party.
