Kanye West has had an incredibly divisive couple years, with fans digging in or abandoning ship as Ye's music and public opinions have become more and more unpredictable. But while the state of Yeezy fandom may be shaky, his marriage is a rock. That's according an unnamed insider who said that Kim Kardashian is fully behind her husband's latest reinvention as a gospel musician.
“Kim and Kanye are in such a great place right now,” the source told People. “Kim doesn’t want to change Kanye. She loves him and supports him.”
They added that Kanye does occasionally catch his wife flat-footed, but stressed the pair discuss most of his major moves.
“Of course, there are going to be times when Kanye says something Kim didn’t know he was going to say, but in general they talk about everything and are usually on the same page,” they said.
The anonymous tipster said support flows both ways between Ye and Kim, which is obvious to anyone who follows the way Kanye gets behind Kim's criminal justice work.
"They are incredibly supportive of each other,” they said. “Kanye, in particular, has been so proud of everything Kim has been doing lately. They are very in sync.”
The news that they are entirely simpatico comes after another anonymous source told People Kim is concerned about a possible Jesus Is King tour. The source said Kim worries that West might overextend himself.
"Kim supports a tour, but still has concerns," the source added. "She doesn’t want him to go crazy and do an intense tour with no breaks. She wants him to focus on his well-being and mental health too."
