Al Pacino and girlfriend Noor Alfallah are going to court, but everything is fine.
According to TMZ, Alfallah, 29, filed a petition with the L.A. Superior Court and asked a judge for full physical custody of her 3-month-old son, Roman, whom she shares with the 83-year-old actor. The docs suggest that Alfallah will allow Paccino reasonable visitation rights and proposed joint legal custody, meaning both parents will be able to make important decisions regarding their child's education and medical care.
Alfallah also reportedly submitted a "voluntary declaration of parentage" to confirm Pacino's fatherhood. She also requested that the Scarface actor cover her legal expenses.
Despite the filing, Pacino's rep tells TMZ that the couple haven't split up. "Al and Noor have succesfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child, Roman. They are still together," said the rep. The couple were also reportedly spotted having dinner on Wednesday night (Sept. 6) in Los Angeles.
Pacino and Alfallah reportedly became an item last spring. The actor was reportedly shocked upon learning about his girlfriend's pregnancy, as he didn't think he could impregnate a woman at his age. Sources told TMZ that he requested a DNA test, to which Alfallah obliged, and shortly after he was confirmed to be the child's biological father. His longtime friend and fellow Godfather co-star Robert De Niro revealed he was thrilled for Pacino at the press junket for the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. "What a guy," he said. "Go Al, God bless him."
Although an exact date has not been revealed, the couple welcomed their son Roman in June. While Roman is Alfallah's first child, Pacino has three other children from previous relationships. He fathered Julie Marie, 33, with acting coach Jan Tarrant as well as 22-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with Beverly D'Angelo.
