Ryan Reynolds has a lot of projects in the pipeline, and during an interview on Fallon, the Deadpool actor opened up about his plans. In the immediate future, Reynolds has Free GuyThe Croods 2The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, and Red Notice on the way. But he also openly discussed Deadpool 3, and once again he's teased what the horizon could look like for the franchise.

"If Deadpool were to be in the MCU, what a sandbox to play in," Reynolds, who is also a producer on Deadpool, teased. "There's a lot more story to tell."

Unfortunately, he kept most of what fans can expect from the long-awaited sequel to himself. He did, however, talk about his action-comedy film Free Guy, which he described as a "hybrid of Fortnite and GTA." Reynolds added that it's been his favorite film to work on so far, but he's not sure when it will be released just yet due to the coronavirus pandemic. "I'm hoping it's released sooner or later."

Elsewhere in the interview, he also talked about his time working with Dwayne Johnson on their Netflix film Red Notice, which also stars Gal Gadot. Production has been put on hold, and Reynolds thinks they probably could have finished it if they didn't "spend 90 percent of the time dicking around, laughing." He added, "I've known Dwayne for like 15 years. So we tend to spend time trying to make each other laugh, which is a really irresponsible thing to do with Netflix, their money."

Reynolds said that he got great joy from making Johnson break, and that if he "parrot[s] back" Johnson's lines "27 percent faster with a swear word at the end," he can make him laugh every time. "He's gone," he joked. "He leaves the room and he never comes back."
