50 Cent has extended a condescending olive branch to Taraji P. Henson

During a recent appearance on T.I.'s Expeditiously podcast, Henson blasted 50 for pitting their respective TV series, Empire and Power, against one another. The Golden Globe-winning actress referred to his trolling as "embarrassing" and questioned why he would try to take down another black-led show.

"Our show has nothing to do with his show, we're talking two different subject matters," Henson said. "Then again 50, do you know what the fuck I had to do to get here? Why tear down another black person? For 'competition?' There are a million other shows you can compete with. And to do that publicly, it's embarrassing."

After catching wind of Henson's comments, 50 took to Instagram in an attempt to bury the hatchet. Well, kind of ... sort of ... not really.

"This is my sincere apology," he wrote to Henson. "I did not mean to hurt your feelings in anyway. I love your work and I think you are amazing. I’m sorry no one is watching your show anymore."

50, who serves as Power's co-executive producer, went on to admit that he simply has less empathy than the average person. He then reiterated his admiration for Henson's talent, insisting he would love to work with her some day.

"But if you don’t like the idea, I understand," he said before firing a warning. "If you don’t roll with me, your [sic] gonna get rolled the fuck over."

Classic Fif. You can read his full "apology" below.
