Today, Netflix has dropped a new teaser for Season 3 of Marvel's Daredevil, which hits the service next month. In it, Netflix confirmed that one of the best villains in any Marvel TV or film property, Wilson Fisk, is indeed BACK.

It's not like this has been a secret; news that Vincent D’Onofrio, who portrays Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the Netflix series, would be returning for this third season was mentioned almost a year ago, and we did get to see Fisk briefly during Daredevil 's second season, but it looks like his circumstances have changed.

The biggest change is that he's out of prison, which was where he ended up after the events of Season 1. The above teaser shows Fisk at home, getting suited up for that Kingpin lifestyle. He's practically in all-white, chilling in an all-white room, which is a dope contrast to Matt Murdock, who's seen in a darker room getting into his throwback Daredevil gear for what's been teased as a huge battle with the evil in Hell's Kitchen.

Netflix also released a synopsis for Season 3, which underpins the battle we are going to be seeing:

"Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero."

Marvel's Daredevil premieres on Oct. 19, but for now, check out official images from this darker season.
