Maury Povich Is Ready to Give Drake a Paternity Test If He Wants One

After Pusha-T revealed Drake might have a secret son with a former porn star, Maury Povich is excited to tell the rapper whether he really is the father or not.

With every hour that passes, it really looks like Drake will take J Prince’s advice and not respond to Pusha T’s “The Story of Adidon.” The song was more than just a savage diss track, though, as it unearthed the story of Drake’s alleged son with former porn star Sophie Brussaux. There are a lot of stories floating around—Drake flew his son out for Christmas, or that Drake has been financially supporting Brussaux—but, at least in journalistic terms, the story remains unconfirmed. Maury Povich, host of the tabloid talk show Maury and creator of the infamous “you are the father” catchline, sees an opportunity in that gap, and is offering Drake to come on his show to take a paternity test.

TMZ caught up with Povich at LAX on Thursday, and he seemed very excited about the possibility of the rapper come on his show. “New season starts next month, we’re ready,” he said. To be fair, the TMZ reporter had to inform him what the whole thing was about, but the invitation seemed legit.

Povich has extended similar offers in the past, most notably to Cardi B and Offset. When allegations of Offset’s infidelity—complete with videos of the affair—started to appear online at the end of last year, Povich offered to give Offset a lie detector test so that Cardi B could have proof one way or another. Neither of them responded, of course, and that was before Cardi announced the couple’s pregnancy

It’s highly unlikely Povich will actually get a reply from Drake. The point seems to be elsewhere: this feud has blown up so much that literally everyone want to get a piece of the action.
