As rumors continue to swirl around a potential Martin reboot, Carl Anthony Payne gave fans another piece of hope that the TV series will make a return. TMZ spoke with Payne who confirmed that "people are talking." When asked point blank if the star would join a potential reboot, his response was, "Absolutely."

The actor said, "Why not? I think the people want it. I think it's long overdue, you know what I'm saying? We created magic in a bottle and why not do it again?" Payne thinks Netflix may be "a good home" for the show if it were to return. "I think there's a lot of room to grow there. And it would be smarter and better and funnier." It sounds like Netflix may have something up its sleeve, considering the positive enthusiasm towards the streaming site Payne had.

Last week, Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell-Martin and Tichina Arnold, stars of the 90's sitcom, were spotted together, putting fire to the rumors of a potential reunion. The three stars were seen leaving a Burbank Steakhouse.  TMZ asked them about the possibility of rebooting their beloved sitcom and Lawrence said, "Never say never." Although Lawrence did tell Page Six last year that there would never be a reunion, all the signs point to a change of heart. Lawrence addressed what an updated version of the show may look like.  "I don't think we have to do it the same way," Lawrence said. "We just have to be funny, and be entertaining and give people heartfelt stories."

For now, we'll be on the edge of our seats.
