Machine Gun Kelly has unleashed his latest studio album, Mainstream Sellout.

Featuring appearances from Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Willow, Gunna, Oliver Sykes of Bring Me the Horizon, Iann Dior, Blackbear, Landon Barker, and his good friend Pete DavidsonMainstream Sellout is the follow-up to MGK’s 2020 effort, the chart-topping Tickets to My Downfall. That record saw MGK move away from hip-hop to adopt a style closer to pop-punk, and he continues that sound here. Like Tickets to My DownfallMainstream Sellout also includes heavy involvement from frequent collaborator Travis Barker.

Prior to the release of the album, MGK teased it with the iPhone-shot video for his Lil Wayne collab “Ay!” and “Emo Girl” with Willow, which includes a short but sweet sample of dialogue from Jennifer’s Body starring his fiancée, Megan Fox.

“The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet,” MGK said of the engagement ring he gave to Megan. “You see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts.”

Outside of music, MGK is also an actor and has at least one project on the way later this year. He’s set to star in Andrew Baird’s new action-thriller One Way alongside Kevin Bacon, and at some point he’ll release his directorial debut, Mourning with a U. Over the last few years, he’s appeared in films including The Dirt as Tommy Lee, the Pete Davidson vehicle The King of Staten Island, and more recently, Jackass Forever.

His tour in support of the album kicks off this June and will include Travis Barker, Trippie Redd, Avril Lavigne, and more. Head to his official website for tickets and more info.
