Lil Tjay is back with “Not in the Mood”—an NYC anthem featuring fellow New York rappers Fivio Foreign and Kay Flock.

The track, co-produced by BS Beats and AyoAA, was accompanied by an official music video that pays homage to the Big Apple and its long-standing hip-hop scene. We see the rappers and their respective crews turning up in the studio, outside apartment complexes, and on the streets of Times Square.

“Look, .45, that’s on the waist/If they come, I do the chase,” Fivio raps. “I couldn’t breathe, runnin’ from the jakes/I almost gave up every other day [...] We not the same, we never relate/It’s a big food for the plate.”

“Not in the Mood” marks Tjay’s first single since he released his sophomore album, Destined 2 Win, back in April. The 21-track effort included appearances by Offset, Moneybagg Yo, Saweetie, and 6lack, and has since been certified gold.
