Fresh off touring with Wale, Guapdad 4000—who is now known as just Guap–returns with the official video for his K.FISHA-produced single “Black Iverson.”

The visual for “Black Iverson” was directed by Chris Simmons. Guap previously joined forces with COLORSxSTUDIOS for a live performance of “Black Iverson” that you can check out below. Additionally, Guap linked with NBA 2K for an exclusive curated COLORS soundtrack update.

The new track is the first release from Guap’s forthcoming project, appropriately titled Guap, and marks the latest in a string of singles he’s dropped this year, following “Ruthless,” “I Need Bands,” and “Fearless.”

“‘Black Iverson’ is a song reflecting on my journey from start till now,” the 29-year-old Oakland rapper said in a press release.

Due out later this year, Guap will serve as the follow-up to Guap’s 2021 collaborative project with !llmind, 1176. Released last June, 1176 featured guest appearances from Rick Ross, Buddy, P-Lo, and Tish Hyman.

“If !llmind had a power it would be to shapeshift, he can do anything! Something like this comes in handy when you need to tell the full spectrum of your story like I did in this music,” Guap said of 1176. “I had no idea we would stumble upon something this magical though, but I guess I should have known that linking up with my Filipino brother would enhance my super powers!”
