After Gunna teased a diss directed at Freddie Gibbs on his new album, the song has arrived and Gibbs has already given his thoughts on the matter.

On the DS4EVER track “Poochie Gown,” Gunna raps, “I can’t fuck with Freddie Gibbs, n***as pullin’ fibs.” The rest of the track doesn’t really address the Alfredo rapper further, but the lines appear to reference Gibbs’ claim that Gunna appeared on Crime Stoppers.

The video Gibbs claims is from Crime Stoppers seems to actually be a CNN interview, and it also appears that during his appearance on the network Gunna attempted to absolve his cousin after he was accused of a crime.

By the time the album dropped, Gibbs playfully trolled Gunna about the diss on Twitter. Prior to the release of the album, Gunna tweeted, “When album drop Freddie Gibbs will the biggest moment of his career.”

Gibbs, meanwhile, mentioned the diss again on Friday. “Me waiting on the biggest moment of my career today,” he posted alongside the classic meme of Tiffany “New York” Pollard sitting on a bed.

His latest comments come after he provoked the drama once more on Thursday night, when he shared the aforementioned clip of Gunna again. “This is not crime stoppers [tears of joy emoji] dummy,” replied Gunna in a tweet. “It’s snitchin. I hope yo album do good bro I’m rooting for U,” Gibbs wrote.

If u ain’t snitch u ain’t gotta explain yourself.

It remains to be seen how long these two will keep trading shots, but Gibbs has yet to diss Gunna on record. Since he’s said he’s a fan of his music, however, that hypothetical diss could never arrive.
