Don Toliver returns with his sophomore album, Life of a Don.

The Cactus Jack member shares his latest project after setting the stage for the album with the single “Drugs N Hella Melodies” featuring Grammy-winning artist Kali Uchis. They paired the song with a video that was shot by Nabil Elderkin in the fitting setting of Medellìn, Colombia.

The 27-year-old artist also released a prelude for the album with a trailer. In the one-minute clip, Toliver embraces a nostalgic aesthetic that contrasts his futuristic sound. It also features a portion of the song, “Xscape.”

The 16-song project features Cactus Jack head honcho Travis Scott on two tracks (“Flocky Flocky,” “You”), as well as appearances from Baby Keem, SoFaygo, HVN, and the aforementioned Uchis. Toliver’s already embarked on a 20-city tour for the album that started in Detroit and will end at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles in December. He’s also scheduled to perform at Travis’ Astroworld Festival in November.

Don Toliver recently scored a high-profile guest spot on Kanye West’s Donda. In an interview on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, he described how it came about. “[Kanye] just sent me off with some songs. I did a bunch of different records, and one of them ended up becoming ‘Moon,’ so it was a crazy blessing for me at the end of the day.”
