The nation is perilously close to another presidential election, one that's growing increasingly apparent will consist of unfairly focused media attention on re-run candidates and related defeatist tactics. The next Democratic candidates debate is set for later this month, and in the spirit of getting younger voters involved, Cardi B has urged her followers to share their questions for the contenders via Instagram comments.

Noting that this "might be your chance" to get an inquiry responded to by a candidate, Cardi detailed her initiative Tuesday.

"What would you like to see change in your community? What would you like to see change in the United States?" Cardi asked, telling her followers that the issue she would most like to see discussed is police brutality.

"I would like to see a change," Cardi said. "I would like to know if our next president even cares because it seems like the one we have now, doesn't." The only qualification for the questions, Cardi said, is that they be "realistic" in nature.

Cardi has repeatedly used her growing platform to speak out on matters of politics, including back in January when she inspiringly trashed 45 for that inane government shutdown nonsense.

"I feel like we need to take some action," she said at the time. "I don't know what type of action, bitch, because that's not what I do. But, bitch, I'm scared."

Cardi's currently fresh off the release of her hit "Press" video, the aesthetic for which is definitely worthy of praise. Revisit that below.
