The man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed robbery in the killing of XXXTentacion and turned on his three co-defendants has learned his fate.

On Wednesday, the Miami Herald reported Robert Allen landed a deal for a reduced sentence. In February, Allen took the witness stand and threw his co-defendants Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome under the bus.

Allen was originally sentenced by Broward Circuit Judge Michael A. Usan to seven years in state prison but due to serving five years throughout the duration of the trial, he only has two more to go. Additionally, Allen will be on probation for 20 years once he’s released from prison.

XXL acquired a statement from the office of Allen’s attorney James S. Lewis that read, "Mr. Allen very much appreciates the opportunity the Court and Victim's Family have given him to try to turn his life around."

In March, Williams, Boatwright, and Newsome were found guilty of killing XXX, and all three were sentenced to life in prison a month later.

In June 2018, XXXTentacion was shot and killed in his car while leaving Riva Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Williams, Boatwright, and Newsome planned to rob the rapper but Allen said he was against it during his confession while on trial.

Williams served as the getaway driver while Boatright and Newsome approached the car to commit the crime. Newsome took XXX’s chain and Louis Vuitton bag, while Boatright shot him shortly after.
