The Game appears to be feeling a bit left out following Sunday’s monumental Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.

While the Los Angeles rapper didn’t directly say he should have been included in the show, he cryptically alluded to the idea by re-sharing a few Instagram Stories made by disgruntled fans who noted his absence.

“FYI: @losangelesconfidential Should’ve been on stage at the Super Bowl I’ll be the first to say it,” wrote one supporter. “@Losangelesconfidential should have performed at Super Bowl with @DrDre I mean this is LA,” wrote another.

This isn’t the first time Game has felt left out of the loop in recent weeks. In January, he took to Instagram to both promote his upcoming album Drillmatic, and to remind T.I., Funk Flex, and Ebro Darden that he hadn’t forgotten the time they left him off of their Top 50 Rappers list back in 2019. He seemed to be partially using the slight as motivation for his new record.

“@oldmanebro @funkflex & @troubleman31…… I ain’t forgot about these lists…,” Game wrote in the caption of his post. “#DRILLMATIC coming soon…. HURRICANE GAME LIVES y’all shoulda just threw my baby mamas in there too !!!!”

The Game has been relentlessly promoting his upcoming album, which is entirely produced by Hit-Boy and will feature his recent Kanye West collaboration “Eazy.” The single debuted at No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the rapper his highest-charting song in nearly 15 years.

The single has garnered a lot of attention as a result of Ye calling out his ex-wife’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson in his verse, but Jay Electronica tweeted in January that the song as a whole should be heralded as one of the greats.

“E A Z Y is one of the greatest records of all times. Don’t @ me. You’re unqualified to debate me,” Electronica wrote.
