On Wednesday, Cardi gave her fans a snippet of the new track on Instagram, but now we can finally listen to her new banger in all its glory.
Looking back at how 2017 treated Cardi B, all you need to do is look at the successful run of her hit single "Bodak Yellow." Back in October, Cardi's track surpassed Lauryn Hill’s "Doo Wop (That Thing)" as the longest running number one by a female solo rapper ever, according to Billboard. Last month, it was revealed that "Bodak Yellow" was certified triple platinum.
When asked about the success of "Bodak Yellow," Cardi B told Jimmy Fallon, during her appearance on The Tonight Show earlier this week, that she feels like all the hard work has paid off. But, with expectations at an all-time high, Cardi needs to show that she's no one-hit wonder, and proving the doubters wrong all starts with "Bartier Cardi."
