50 Cent Is Concerned That People Will Gain Weight During Their Coronavirus Quarantine

50 Cent appeared on "My Monday Morning," a Wall Street Journal series where self-motivated people reveal how they start their week. Like many across the world, 50 is embarking on another week of self-isolation, and while others are trying to find any way to entertain themselves as they remain stuck inside their homes, the multi-hyphenate is placing an importance on making sure that he stays in shape.

"This is day five, right here. I feel there are no safer options out here. There's not much," 50 said. "I guess when I want to go to the gym, I'll go to a track, and I'll just run outside. Still, you know what they say, keep your social distance. [I'm] being conscious of that."

50 admits that he's fearful many others will not consider exercise to be a high priority on their list of things to do while under quarantine, and it will lead to people gaining a considerable amount of weight. "But a lot of people are not making adjustments, so they're just going to sit home, and they're going to get fat," he continued. "They'll get fat."

If 50's cautionary words resonate with you, and you want to do something about it, he has a cost-effective way to, at least, train your legs. "Yeah, on Instagram, stuff like that. For me, it’s something like, I don't want to not be able to do it when it’s a girl telling me to do it," he said. "When you're training legs, you should definitely train with women because that's all they train. After a while you're like, 'Yo, what is this?' You know what I'm saying? Like, 'What the fuck you all been doing in here?'"
