The Baton Rouge rapper also wanted to release a debut album and have a daughter, both of which he’s achieved.

Years before heading out on a record-breaking tour, NBA YoungBoy jotted down big plans for himself on a bucket list.

In a resurfaced list that the "What You Is" rapper wrote on April 24, 2018, YoungBoy's goals ranged from expected ("Release my debut album") to surprising ("Collab with Adele on a song"). Other plans that the rapper had for himself were winning a Grammy, getting a GED and having a daughter, the latter which he's already achieved several times. The rapper is a father of ten and is expecting his eleventh child with his wife, Jazlyn Mychelle.

Among YoungBoy's other goals were giving back to schools in his community, leaving Louisiana "for good" and shockingly, skydiving.

As YoungBoy works out the remainder of the goals on his bucket list, Complex's Jordan Rose had a chance to catch up with the rapper about his current goals during his Brooklyn concert in September. Around the latter part of the quick interview, YoungBoy shared that he plans to release one more album by the end of the year, which will follow his 2025 albums Leaks, Masa and Deshawn.

As for getting off probation, the Baton Rouge native has a ways to go after receiving a pardon from President Donald Trump in May. The rapper, real name Kentrell Gaulden, was serving a 23-month sentence for a gun-related charge and pleaded guilty to being in a prescription fraud ring.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
