Joey Badass Says Tristan Thompson ‘Gotta Stop Being a Sorry Ass N***a’ Amid Cheating Scandal

What’s that one Ye line? “Two tattoos, one read ‘No apologies’/The other said ‘Love is cursed by monogamy.’”

Well, it looks like Joey Badass is trying to impart the same wisdom West was on “No Church in the Wild” to NBA player Tristan Thompson, who has found himself in another cheating scandal.

The Brooklyn rapper took to Twitter to share his thoughts about Thompson’s latest infidelities, saying the Sacramento King doesn’t have to follow monogamous practices, but does have to be honest with his significant other if he’s seeing other women.

“Tristian Thompson gotta stop being a sorry ass n***a,” Joey began. “Tell Khloe you’re a fucking gyalist and you need more than one woman. Straight up. Whats so hard about being honest with our women fellas? Fuck this western bullshit. Relationships should be expansive and beneficial for all.”

Thompson posted a public apology to Khloé Kardashian on his Instagram after it was revealed through a paternity test that he had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, a woman who claimed months ago the NBA big had been involved with her.

“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” Thompson wrote as a part of a several-slide Instagram Stories. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.” 

Kardashian has yet to release any formal response to Thompson’s apology.

Badass continued on Twitter by explaining he believes most people have had polyamorous relationships “our whole lives” but weren’t truthful about it. 

He added that “unconditional love means you love with no CONDITIONS” and society has been “way too conditioned to even love freely.”

In terms of new music, Joey has been quiet since he dropped his last full-length project All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ back in 2017, but the Brooklyn spitter confirmed during a recent Instagram Live that his next album is coming this year.
