DJ Mustard posted a video of himself pouring a bottle of lean down the sink on Saturday night, following the news that Chicago rapper Fredo Santana died due to a reported seizure. Santana had previously battled liver and kidney failure, a health issue that may have been exacerbated by his use of lean.

"It's over for me, people," DJ Mustard says in the clip as he pours the bottle away. "It's over. Fuck this shit. I'm cool. Fuck that, it's over."

DJ Mustard also posted a tweet on Saturday, remembering the fallen artist.

Rest up @FREDOSANTANA300 🙏🏾

Mustard's post follows a recent wave of rappers vowing to quit Xanax after Lil Peep passed away due to an overdose in November. Lil Pump, Smokepurpp, and Lil Uzi Vert were among a handful of artists who publicly announced they were attempting to quit the drug.

Santana's death came three months after he posted a series of tweets explaining that he hoped he could be an inspiration for artists to slow down on drug use because they have their whole lives ahead of them. You can see those tweets below.

Hopefully I can be the face to sho niggas to slow down an we got our whole life ahead of us fuck being rock stars gettin high I got ptsd...
