Young Thug is apparently dropping…something.

The incarcerated rapper took to his Instagram late Thursday night to post a QR code with the caption, “Business is business.”

When opened, the QR code reveals a countdown timer, which, at the time of this writing, says five days and 12 hours. It looks like Thugger’s surprise offering is arriving late on Wednesday, June 21.

The Atlanta native’s message comes on the same day that Gunna shared his first post-jail project, A Gift & a Curse, which includes his recent song, “Bread & Butter.” The 15-track, guest-free release comes just two days after Gunna’s 30th birthday and follows his chart-topping January 2022 album DS4EVER.

Gunna got out of jail in December after entering an Alford Plea. Video of him taking the plea deal shows him acknowledging that he became associated with Young Stoner Life in 2016 and that YSL is both a record label and a gang. Since then, Gunna has become a pariah in the industry, with many deeming him a snitch.

While “Bread & Butter” addressed the YSL RICO case and snitching allegations, the A Gift & a Curse cut “I Was Just Thinking” directly mentions Thug.

"That's four walls talkin' to you, tellin' you you gone/Only I done cried, 'cause this feelin' for my bro (King Slime)," Gunna raps. "And you know my mind, you done watched that n***a grow/Know you hear the lies, it's your lil' brother, my folk/Yeah, I had popped out, but don't let 'em say I told."

Thugger is currently still in jail awaiting trial for RICO charges filed against him and YSL.
