Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have reportedly parted ways.

The two artists announced their engagement in March. Sources told People that even though they love and respect each other, they decided to break things off.

The former couple was together for over three years. They were first linked in August 2021 and made their relationship public on social media a month later.

The two 30-year-olds revealed their engagement in the music video for their song “Beso” from their 3-song joint EP RR. “Oh my God,” she whispers to Alejandro in the video, crying while showing her ring finger. “I love you.”

“For us, it’s always love first and everything else later, but we skipped that this time so we could finish RR and share it with the world,” Rosalía said in a statement at the time. “After more than three years these three songs are here and each one of them belongs to a different stage of love.”

Last March, Rosalía also shared that she had “RR” tattooed on her foot for her and Alejandro’s initials. He followed suit, getting Rosalía inked above his navel.

In Billboard’s March cover story, Alejandro spoke on the divergences in their artistry. "Rosi has a more solid music base than I do in the sense that I'm more extroverted in my music, but she's far more disciplined," Alejandro told the outlet. "But she's a freak-crazy workaholic. Piano lessons, dance lessons, voice lessons; what else can you learn when no one sings like you? At the beginning, I didn't really get it, but after some time, I said, 'OK, let me try to follow her lead and see.' And the difference is huge."
