Google is not always the most trustworthy source for information, like Burna Boy’s net worth.
In a new episode of Complex’s 360 With Speedy, the host asked Burna around the 25:00 minute mark, “Quick Google search says your net worth is $22 million. Is that accurate?”
Burna laughed as Speedy asked the question and continued to laugh before answering. “Let’s not talk about that one. I prefer them to think that, that’s cool,” he said.
When Speedy asked if he’s going to let his fans think that, the Nigerian artist said, “Yeah, I like that one.” When asked if Google is inaccurate, Burna said the estimate is “way off.”
Still, Burna has enough money to provide for his family. “How does it feel for you to be in a position where you can change the trajectory of your family’s life and take care of finances for other people?” Speedy asked. “‘Cause I’m sure that’s not the way you grew up.”
“It’s great, man. It’s a blessing. It’s nothing short of a blessing. For real,” responded.”
Speedy continued his line of questioning, “Is that something that you always wanted to do, growing up as a kid? ‘Oh, one day I’m gonna buy my mom a house or buy my mom a car.’”
“Yeah, I always told her I’d do that,” Burna said.
