Burna Boy has arrived with his seventh studio album I Told Them... featuring J. Cole, 21 Savage, Dave, GZA, RZA, and Seyi Vibez.
The Nigerian singer spoke about the project in an interview with Complex's 360 with Speedy as well as with Apple Music's Zane Lowe. For the latter, he said that he gravitated toward J. Cole following their joint performance the the rapper's Dreamville Fest earlier this year.
"The truth is often hidden, but when you come across it and you are a person of truth yourself, you can't help but recognize it," the 32-year-old told Zane Lowe. "You know what I mean? That's really the story of me and J Cole. It's like, I recognize it."
In his interview with Speedy, Burna Boy noted that I Told Them... is merely the first part of a larger series. However, he wouldn't get into further details.
"I haven't even told no one this, you know too much," Burna joked. "What else does he know? Where is he getting all this info from?"
