Here's Tyler, the Creator's New Album 'Flower Boy'

Tyler, the Creator’s Flower Boy album has officially arrived; however, it’s safe to say many of you have already heard the entire project.

That’s because Tyler’s fourth studio album appeared online nearly two weeks before its official release date. The fact that it leaked so early was notable in itself, but it seemed the only thing people could talk about was the album’s lyrics—lyrics that raised speculation about Tyler’s sexuality. Just look at some of the lyrics: “Shout-out to the girls that I lead on for occasional head and always keeping my bed warm” (“Foreword” featuring Rex Orange County), or “Next line will have ’em like, ‘Whoa’/I been kissing white boys since 2004” (“I Ain’t Got Time!”). These lines have led many people to believe the 26-year-old was alluding to his homosexuality or bisexuality, while others claimed the controversial artist was just trolling.

Whether he’s being serious or not has yet to be determined. But it seems Flower Boy is full of Tyler’s most vulnerable and personal records yet, touching on everything from loneliness to failure to success. It also includes appearances by ASAP Rocky, Frank Ocean, Lil Wayne, and Estelle.

Tyler is also currently working on two TV series: The Jellies! with Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim and Nuts & Bolts with Viceland. Both are set to premiere later this year.
