Itā€™s a big week for Justin Timberlake. Just days before he takes the stage for the 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show, the 37-year-old singer has released his fifth solo studio album, Man of the Woods. He's also dropped the music video for the title track, which you can watch above.Ā

The project, which marks Timberlakeā€™s first full-length release since 2013ā€™s The 20/20 Experience, was officially announced in early January along with a trailer filled with bucolic scenes.

ā€œThis album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I've ever written, where I'm from,ā€ he explained in the teaser. ā€œIt's personal.ā€

Man of the Woods is a 16-track project that includes appearances by Alicia Keys onĀ ā€œMorning Lightā€Ā and Chris Stapleton on ā€œSay Somethingā€; the latter of which served as the albumā€™s third single following ā€œSuppliesā€ and ā€œFilthy.ā€ The Neptunes handled the bulk of the production along with Timbaland, J-Roc, Danja, and more.

Because of the title, aforementioned trailer, and Timberlakeā€™s new affinity for farmer-inspired clothing, many fans suspected Man of the Woods would be more country than pop; however, Timberlake later insisted that wasnā€™t the case. He cleared up the confusion in an Instagram video posted this week:

ā€œThe album is named after my son, [Silas],ā€ he said. ā€œHis name means 'of the woods.' So stop telling me Iā€™m making a country album!ā€

You can listen to the project now on Apple Music and iTunesĀ or below via Spotify.

Timberlake will also kick off the Man of the Woods North American Tour on March 13 in Toronto. The tour will include stops in Chicago, Boston, Las Vegas, and Atlanta, before wrapping up on May 30 in Memphis.Ā
