Jim Jones has added more star power to his “We Set the Trends” track.

Nearly four months after delivering the original version, the East Coast legend came through with the song’s official remix, featuring MigosLil WayneDJ Khaled, and fellow Dipset member Julez Santana. Jones announced the remix back in January, fresh off the release of his and DJ Drama’s joint project Gangsta Grillz: We Set the Trends.

Though Jones didn’t confirm the track’s official release date, fans speculated it would arrived sometime in the spring, as footage of the remix’s video shoot had started circulating in late March. Behind-the-scenes clips show Jones alongside Wayne, Khaled, Santana, and Migos’ Takeoff.

Jones made headlines last week after stopping by Good Day New York to deliver the weather report. And, yes, it was just as entertaining as it sounds.

“We looking like we’re in our fifth or sixth winter, it’s pretty chilly,” said Jones, who started his Drip Report series back in 2020. “It’s supposed to be spring, spring is outta here. New York City, you’re in the dubs. You in the twenties, when you in the twenties you gotta drop down and get your eagle on. Baby girl cover that waist front up, because it might get a little bit chilly.”

Jones will also hit the stage at 2022’s Rock the Bells festival, alongside fellow hip-hop veterans such as Ice Cube, Lil Kim, Trina, Scarface, and LL Cool J. The festival will go down Aug. 6 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens.
