Steve Aoki is one of the hardest working producers out right now, and for his latest track he's teamed up with Dutch producer Nicky Romero and Illinois vocalist Kiiara for something of a victory lap. Check out the video up top.
Speaking about the track, Steve Aoki said of the collaboration, "I love working with Nicky, both of us are so in synch. 'Be Somebody' is a great example of us coming together as a creative force. Kiiara's vocals are phenomenal and she seamlessly portrays the message of the song."
Romero echoed Aoki's comments, adding, "Steve and I have been perfecting the sound on this record for over a year [...] We couldn't be more excited to have Kiiara grace us with her amazing voice."
The uptempo track definitely does a lot to flaunt the production talents of those involved, but it's also a strong showcase for Kiiara's distinctive vocals. "I am honored to be a part of this record with Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero," explained Kiiara. "I can't wait for everyone to hear it."
