Quavo and Offset allegedly got into a fight backstage at the Grammys just before Quavo took the stage to pay tribute top Takeoff, TMZ reports. Offset seemingly caught wind of said report and responded on social media.

Sources close to the production said the two rappers had to be pulled apart.

Grammy producers reportedly asked Offset to be part of the tribute, but Quavo stopped that from happening. Sources added that it wasn’t Offset who started the fight on Sunday.

Quavo ultimately took to the stage alone to perform his song “Without You” during the show’s In Memoriam segment. The song arrived last month and is about the late rapper, who was fatally shot on Nov. 1 at the age of 28 in Houston.

Prior to Takeoff’s death in November, 2022, the rapper released a collaborative album with Quavo. Rumors circulated for a while that Migos had broken up, although it was unclear at the time if the group was simply taking a hiatus.

In an interview promoting the record, Quavo suggested they weren’t looking to make any more Migos music at the time. Takeoff, however, gave a more uncertain response and said, “Only time will tell, we always family now, that it ain’t gon’ change.”

Offset has been focused on his solo career as of late, and recently responded to J. Prince when he threw shade his way over things he heard about the relationship with his late bandmate. “How dare one of y’all n***as even speak on me and Take’s relationship?” said Offset. “ I don’t know you n***as from a can of paint, n***a. Y’all n***as don’t know how me and my brother rocked.”
