While 50 Cent is quick to dive in on the opportunity to diss almost anyone he chooses, he came to the defense of Fetty Wap recently. Fif brought out the "Trap Queen" rapper during his Power season premiere concert event this week, and on Thursday he posted a photo of the two of them onstage together. Shortly after, a fan simply commented, "Dawg fell OFF."

In response, 50 Cent said that Fetty had experienced some "contract issues." He hasn't released a project since his Bruce Wayne mixtape in June 2018, and his second studio album King Zoo still doesn't have a release date. "It makes a artist not want to make music," Fif added.

While Fetty Wap shot to fame after "Trap Queen" climbed the charts in late 2014 and early 2015, the song eventually peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Later in the year, Drake released his remix of Fetty's third single, "My Way." After the release of his self-titled debut album, Fetty has mostly stuck to releasing mixtapes. Fif has implied that his lack of high-profile output might be related to record label issues. He did not, however, indicate what those issues were exactly.

In June, LAPD sources indicated that Fetty was a battery suspect following an alleged incident in the Hollywood Hills.
