The Donda rollout may be complete, but that doesn’t mean Yeezy has to go into hiding.
Kanye West—who just recently took photos with fans at LAX while reportedly hopping on a commercial flight—was spotted in New York City Thursday grabbing coffee with former Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. The pair was captured on video chatting at Sant Ambroeus on the Upper East Side, although Cohen has recently been on house arrest over pleading guilty to tax evasion and finance fraud.
In the clip, which was captured by Page Six, Kanye can be seen wearing an all-black ensemble as the pair are surrounded by greenery on a table. While it remains unclear what the two could possibly be discussing, West’s arrival in New York comes the week of Kim Kardashian’s debut hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.
Kardashian takes on the second episode of the show’s newest season, as musical guest Halsey will be responsible for the night’s performances following their fourth studio album and film of the same name, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. Page Six reports that Yeezy might have a hand in Kim’s funny moments, reportedly “quietly advising her on her performance [and] her opening monologue.”
“Kim is nervous about hosting SNL,” an unnamed source told the publication, as TMZ reports she’s also getting assistance from Dave Chappelle, Michelle Wolf, Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Schumer, and James Corden.
