Anuel AA has made a very public plea to his ex-fiancée Karol G, asking the pop star to unblock him on social media.
On Friday (October 9), while promoting his new single "Vuelve" (which means "come back" in Spanish), the Puerto Rican rapper took to Instagram with a direct message for the Colombian superstar.
"Karol G, unblock me babe," Anuel wrote in Spanish along with laughing emojis. "It’s not that I’m a player, it’s just that I fall deeply in love."
He continued: "'Vuelve' has been released [and] this song is another single from [my upcoming album] RHLM 2. I challenge anyone in the genre to make a better trap [song] than this song… For now #LasMasBonitasSonPutas and #Vuelve are the best trap [songs] of the year!!!! [goat emojis] You can all suck my dick, you dick peelers [goat emojis]."
What happened between Karol G and Anuel AA?
Anuel met Karol G in 2018 on the set of their "Culpables" video. They dated, became engaged in 2019, and stacked up collaborations including "Secreto," "China," and "Location" before announcing their split in April 2021.
Although the two seemed to be on good terms at first, particularly in November 2021 when Anuel made a surprise appearance at Karol's Bichota Tour concert in Puerto Rico, the two have seemingly been at odds since.
In early 2022, Anuel began dating Dominican artist Yailin La Más Viral whom he married later that year. The two called it quits in February 2023, just one month before the arrival of their daughter Cattleya.
On the other hand, Karol was rumored to be dating fellow Colombian reggaeton artist Feid in late 2021 after he served as her opening act for the North American leg of her Bichota Tour. (They kept their relationship under wraps until June 2023)
