UPDATED 5/5, 11:50 a.m. ET: Kawhi gave a little more insight into Culture Jam, noting that some of the proceeds will go toward a charitable organization created in memory of Kobe and Gigi Bryant.

“It’s just something that could uplift our community. And, you know, a portion of each stream is gonna go to the Mamba & Mambacita [Sports] Foundation,” Leonard told reporters of the project. “It’s just something good for the community, you know what I mean?”

Founded “through the vision and loving memory of Kobe and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant,” Mamba & Mambacita works to create “positive impact for underserved athletes and young women in sports.”

The foundation’s website elaborates on the mission: “The foundation provides funding and sports programming for underserved athletes to enable participation in school and/or league sports that enrich socio-emotional and physical development. … Kobe and Gigi’s vision was to create a world where young women had equal opportunity to pursue their dreams through sports and life. The foundation honors their legacy by funding programs that support their vision.”
